Printing the ahla masks

The ahla masks are hand printed using hand carved Lino stamps. They are printed on 7x60” strips, making just 9 masks per print. The inks are mixed by eye for each print using Speedball non-toxic screen printing ink. The Process of mixing the colors, rolling out the ink and meticulously aligning each print make for an extremely satisfying and soothing process that results in a finished product that’s always unique and original.
